Bucks fire Jason Kidd

The Milwaukee Bucks have fired Head Coach Jason Kidd after three plus seasons with the organization, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Joe Prunty, assistant coach, will replace Kidd in the interim.

Milwaukee, with a 23-22 record halfway into the season, slipped to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, despite reinforcing the team’s offensive arsenal with the acquisition of Eric Bledsoe earlier in the season.

Kidd ended his stint with the Bucks with a 139-152 record. His two trips to the playoffs with the Bucks ended in the first round.
